mooncat_chelionWell, since the convention looms upon the horizon, I might as well get this posted:
Where will you be most of the time during the day/s?
Most likely wandering about the hotel and dealer's den and art show. I might venture out into Pittsburgh itself to do some photography, and plan to eat at Primanti Brothers at least once. Sammiches of doom!
I'm really, really shy, to the point where it interferes with my functioning properly in social settings so if I seem jumpy or babble or wander off abruptly...that's why. I mean on offense or slights by it.
Where are you staying?
The Westin. The Omni was lovely last year but the mate expressed an interest in being in the main hotel again so there we are.
Who will you be with?
Whoever lets me tag along, and at times, the mate, who is not a fur but puts up with me. :)
Do you do free art?
I might doodle something here and there, but over the past few years, I've really let what talent I had get rusty.
Do you do trades?
The idea has appealed to me, but I'd be reluctant at this point until I get back to the art level I want.
Do you do commissions?

Do you have prints/CDs?
Nope.
Do you do badges?
Nope
What is your gender?
Female
How old are you?
Mentally, chronological or behaviourally? This body of mine's been kicking around for some 40 odd (and not so odd) years, but some days it feels like 400. oog.
Can I touch you?
Depends on how well I know you and if I'm in panic mode. I'm a little particular about personal space. A friendly tap on the arm or shoulder is fine, hugs will depend on mood, surprise glomps or tickling -will- result in my elbow or foot being rammed into someplace sensitive until I sort out who it was that did it.
Can I talk to you?
Sure, but as previously stated, I'm very shy and crowds freak me the hell out so I might be weird. Well, weirder than normal. I also have short-term memory issues, so I tend to forget names. Again, I mean no offense by this.
This does not mean that I dislike talking to others, far from it. I just have problems approaching you and initiating the conversation. By all means, say hi if you feel so inclined.
Other pertinent info:
We will be arriving Thursday afternoon, leaving Monday morning.
Due the aforementioned social anxiety, and the fact that my glasses prescription is(still)out of date, I might not see you at first, so don't think I just walked past you on purpose. My brain is probably elsewhere, especially if I have my earbuds in.
I'll have with me either one of my two messenger bags: a black and grey Defenders of Wildlife or a greenish and black canvas Sierra Club model, and depending on mood might be wearing my lion tail, or another if I buy one. I stand about 5'6", wear glasses, am IrishPale (ie damn near translucent), have medium brown hair cut into a slightly above the shoulders....not-quite-bob-thing, and am still on the chunkier side of pudgy (still working on that, I gained back most of what I had previously lost but not giving up). the_gneech, yay :). I also might be wearing my light blue collar with crystal-ish sparkles. Cos I like it.
This year, like last year, time and weather permitting, I might be wandering outside the hotel and convention areas, doing the photography thing. I'm not often in cities, and Pittsburgh has a nice photogenic feel to it, for me anyway. I might also be sitting outside, blowing bubbles because...well, bubbles!
