Heard outside:

"How dare you, I'm 10 years old" shouted by a kid, presumably at the car that, for whatever reason, honked at him/her.

Congratulations, kid. You'll find out very soon in life that being 10 doesn't make you special.

It just makes you 10.

I'm annoyed. Probably shouldn't be annoyed but I am. The folks behind and to one side of us put out a bunch of lawn furniture, I guess for the gathering they appear to be hosting presently, and several of the pieces are on our property. Not by much, but still, there's a definite delineation between our land and theirs, and the furniture crosses it.

Why this annoys me, I have no idea. But it does, and I know it comes across as petty but there it is. I suppose that I've always been in the mindset of "good fences make good neighbours" and we do not have a fence along that edge of land. Yet. For now I shall watch and wait, perhaps this is only a temporary thing, but if they encroach further, we'll see what happens.
