First off, thanks for the assorted birthday wishes :). The workday part of my day was...tolerable, as workdays go, but dinner was great, if a little loud. (something about that restaurant's design just makes it into a dizzying cacophony of noise). One of my coworkers gave me a 56oz (3.5 pound) bag of M&M's. 0_o. I think I shall make myself sick on chocolate over the next month or two or however long it takes me and the mate to get through that bag.
