Moving, weekends and headaches
Aug. 6th, 2002 07:47 amWell, it took us a few days longer than I expected, but we're back online again, and with piles of stuff to catch up on.
Settlement was very fast and painless, just a lot of signing. The movers showed up early, but they were fast, efficient and very nice, I'd highly recommend them to anyone moving in the area, but they're a local company. We still have a house full of boxes, but we're slowly whittling them down. Mojo, our cat, spent much of the 31st under the couch, but eventually discovered that the house was ok and that stairs are fun.
This weekend, we drove up to Altamont, NY for the Grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary. I ended up with the grandpappy of all migraines and missed the party, but I did see wild turkeys and ride in a Model A, so that was pretty cool.
Hopefully soon, I'll be caught up. Bleh.
